I saw the company at the end of 2018. At first, I only went to see it because of the low price ticket, but I didn't think it would have such a big impact on me. Then I watched it three times in a row, and every time I got a new acquisition.

This 2018 west-end version Company is an official gender-reversed version of the 70's musical. This new version gives this musical a new meaning. From a male perspective to a female perspective, talking about marriage in current society.

This musical discusses the 35-year-old woman's idea of marriage. Is it really necessary to get married? What is the meaning of marriage? Just like the last question the leading role Bobbi asked, this is the problem that her 5 pairs of married couples couldn't answer.

After watching this musical, I also start to ask is marriage is really a necessity? Isn't marriage a necessary condition to define a person's integrity? Does woman in modern society really need a man to complete her life? This problem is also what I am facing. And I will also get some inexplicable and very offensive answers to that question, but those answers are from people thought they are helping me.

This contradiction is an important part of this musical also make me very curious about if people realize what they really said.
